Tell us a bit about yourself, Sasha

I am a woman in technology who knows firsthand the challenges of building confidence in a male-dominated industry, and an example of how self-doubt was transformed into leadership. Today, I am a marketing leader at a global cyber security company, pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of York, a Platinum #IAmRemarkable facilitator, empowered and inspired 700+ individuals worldwide. I support women through various initiatives, mentor young professionals and spread the word on the problematic of a women in tech at industry events. Diversity is not only about programs: it is about motivation we get from people tailoring their way to confidence from a ground 0.

What does it mean to you to be selected for the People’s Choice Award?

Being selected as a finalist for the People’s Choice Award for the second year in a row is a powerful encouragement to continue my initiatives in this field. As a woman in tech, my journey has not been easy: I had to build confidence and prove my strength over the years, constantly developing my skills and pursuing further education and training. This recognition is important not only for me, but also for those I have supported or inspired, showing that barriers can be broken and goals can be achieved. It shows that empowering others through #IAmRemarkable, mentoring, and creating inclusive communities resonates and motivates to move further.
